Jean S. Nishimura graduated from Santa Clara University School of Law in 1995.
She attended University of Hawaii, Manoa, then transferred to the International Division at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan where she obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Japanese language studies. She is a member of the Santa Clara County Bar Association and has practiced family law in Santa Clara County since 1995. She was born and raised in Hilo, Hawaii.
